The Third Dimension
Creating threedimensional interpretations for Bombas Gens Centre d’Arts (Valencia, Spain)
The connection between the past and the present is broken, the only thing left is a series of photographs from which to reimage, workout, and reconstruct a past. Positioned between a detective and a dreamer’s world, we need to discern what is contained within the images by reconstructing those objects and contexts never experienced before.
This project consists in a series of 3D printed objects made from reinterpretations and translation of photographs from the collection Per Amor A L’Art. They were exhibited under the title RE-COLLECTIONS as part of the exhibition “Earth, a Retrospective”, curated by El Ultimo Grito with Fundació Per Amor a l’Art Comunidad de la Comunidad Valenciana for the World Capital of Design Valencia 2022.
The exhibition was held in the contemporary art centre Bombas Gens (Valencia, Spain) from 07.07.2022 to 30.12.2023.
